HEAD OF IMPORT & EXPORT COMPLIANCE
Ceylon Beverage International (Pvt) Ltd, a leading beverage processing, filling and exporting company serving both local and international markets, is seeking an experienced and highly competent professional to lead our Imports, Exports & Compliance function.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 7-10 years of relevant experience in Import & Export / Customs Compliance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Relevant Bachelor's Degree or professional qualification.
- Male candidate with strong ability to lead and manage the overall compliance function.
- Strong knowledge of Sri Lanka Customs regulations, particularly the TIEP Scheme and BOI regulations/ compliance requirements.
- Strong knowledge of import/export procedures, documentation and related legal and regulatory requirements.
- Thorough knowledge of HS Code classification, Customs valuation and Customs audits.
- Experience in license/permit approval processes and Free Trade Agreements (FTAs).
- Strong leadership, analytical and communication skills together with good computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and oversee all import and export compliance activities of the Company.
- Liaise with Customs, BOI, government authorities, clearing agents, freight forwarders, shipping lines and other relevant parties.
- Identify potential compliance risks and implement appropriate internal controls.
