SOURCING EXECUTIVE
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Sourcing Executive to drive our strategic sourcing initiatives and ensure efficient vendor management, material acquisition, and supply chain continuity.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop reliable suppliers for materials, machinery, spare parts, and other business needs
- Obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate competitive pricing and payment terms.
- Prepare purchase requests, sourcing reports, and cost analyses
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and cost-saving opportunities
- Coordinate with relevant departments to fulfill sourcing requirements
- Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, quality, and compliance
- Maintain supplier databases and sourcing documentation
- Support strategic sourcing, cost reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, ethical standards, and internal controls
Qualifications & Experience
- A National Diploma in Polymer Technology or a qualification in NDT, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering
- Previous experience in sourcing, procurement, purchasing, or a similar role is preferred.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Good knowledge of supplier management and market research
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and ERP or procurement systems
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with commitment
