EXTERNAL TRAINERS - PART TIME (On - Demand Basis)
SriLankan Aviation College is seeking individuals with the following qualifications to serve as External Trainers to deliver theoretical/practical training for Basic Aircraft Maintenance courses conducted by the college.

Qualifications:
- Path 1.
Hold a valid Part 147 and IS 147 Basic Instructor approvals for Theoretical Training of Basic Course in Aircraft Maintenance in Category B1.1 or B2.
- Path 2.
- Requirement 1
Bachelor’s Degree in Aeronautical/Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic/Aircraft Maintenance/Mechatronics Engineering from a recognized university. OR AML License in Either category B1.1 or B2 and the Aircraft type endorsed on the appropriate category/sub category of license of each aircraft type used for the purpose of the training. OR Diploma or equivalent in Aeronautical/Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic/Aircraft Maintenance/Mechatronics Engineering from a recognized institute which is accepted by the local authority, or an acceptable equivalent. OR Part 147 certificates of recognition issued by EASA and CAASL approved Maintenance Training Organization. Previous teaching experience or aircraft maintenance experience will be an added advantage.
- Requirement 2
Passed an Aircraft type training as per Part 66 standards in Category B1.1 or B2 or equivalent.
- Requirement 3
3 years of relevant experience in civil aviation environment or acceptable equivalent.

Note: To be eligible under Path 2, the applicant must satisfy Requirements 1, 2, and 3.
