DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR
What we are looking for :
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience.
- BSc. Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Experience in database administration on MS SQL Server and strong knowledge of PL/SQL.
- Familiarity with database design, documentation and coding.
- Knowledge of ORACLE database and .NET environment would be an added advantage.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Configure and Maintain Database servers and processes.
- Report generation and providing specific custom reports.
- Monitor the system's health and performance.
- Assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement.
- Provide 24x7 support for critical production system issues.
- Experience with backups, restores and recovery models.
- Experience of High Availability and Disaster Recovery for MS SQL Server
