DATA ANALYST (MID-LEVEL)

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a highly analytical Data Analyst with 3+ years of experience to join our Kids & Teens Medical Group. You will transform operational, performance, and financial data into clear insights and simple dashboards that support better decisions across our clinics and back-office teams. You will also help set data standards and track regional incentive programs across the USA and Sri Lanka teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build Reports & Dashboards: Create easy-to-understand dashboards in Power BI to track patient volumes, incentives, and call-centre performance for managers and leaders.
- Improve Data Quality: Set data standards and maintain definitions to keep our data accurate, consistent, and trustworthy.
- Understand & Map Processes: Work with teams to understand how work gets done and map simple workflows to improve reporting and operations.
- Analyse Performance & Costs: Monitor key performance and financial numbers, support incentive calculations, and find opportunities to work smarter.
- Work with Data & Systems: Use SQL and Python to extract and prepare data from systems and support our Azure data environment.
- Collaborate & Train: Support project delivery using JIRA and Agile practices, and help teams build their data skills.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Experience
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or in a similar role.
Technical Skills
- Advanced in Power BI (dashboards, DAX) and Excel
- Practical experience with MS SQL Server
- Hands-on experience with Python for data work
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure
Business & Process Skills
- Strong skills in data governance and standardisation
- Experience in requirements gathering, stakeholder management, and process improvement
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum and JIRA
- Excellent analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving
Education
- BSc (Hons) in Engineering in Information and Communication Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a closely related field.
