Job Description:
We are seeking a commercially driven Head of Finance to lead the company's finance and accounting function, strengthen financial controls, support business growth, and provide strategic financial insights to Management. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on finance leader with strong experience in financial management, budgeting, reporting, cash-flow management, taxation, audit, compliance, and business planning.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the Finance & Accounts function.
- Develop and monitor annual budgets, forecasts and cash-flow plans.
- Prepare accurate monthly and management financial reports.
- Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to Management.
- Oversee accounts payable, receivables, payroll and cash management.
- Ensure timely statutory payments, tax compliance and financial reporting.
- Coordinate with external auditors, banks, tax authorities and other financial institutions.
- Strengthen internal controls, financial policies and accounting procedures.
- Monitor inventory valuation, costing and production-related financial controls.
- Manage banking facilities, working capital requirements and financial documentation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations and company policies.
- Support Management in investment decisions, business expansion and financial planning.
- Lead, mentor and develop the Finance & Accounts team.
- Drive improvements in ERP systems, financial processes and reporting accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
- CA / CIMA / ACCA or equivalent professional qualification is highly preferred.
- Minimum 7-10 years of progressive experience in Finance & Accounting, with significant experience in a managerial or senior leadership role.
- Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, wellness, cosmetics or export-oriented businesses will be an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, cash-flow management and internal controls.
- Experience working with ERP/accounting systems.
- Strong analytical, leadership and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality and commercial awareness.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
