Finance Executive
A well-established leading Cash on Delivery Service with having island wide branch network, looking for experienced candidate for the post of Finance Executive to its Head Office located at Kotte.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Branch Financial Supervision & Internal Controls - Supervise all branch financial operations across the island & perform regular and surprise physical audits to resolve cash count variances and route shortages.
- Revenue Stream & Collection Monitoring - Match daily operational collections against deposit slips and bank statements to prevent cash leakage & enforce strict procedures for cash handling, petty cash and expenses.
- Monitor branch and rider shortage accounts, maintaining transparent recovery systems and enforcing timely resolutions for outstanding cash deficits.
- Produce accurate weekly and monthly revenue analysis reports for Top management to highlight collection efficiency and leakage points.
- Take immediate leadership of the sub-finance team, setting clear KPIs, delegating daily routine tasks and supervising output quality.
- Work independently to identify process bottlenecks, propose actionable solutions, and execute corrective measures without requiring constant oversight.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience: Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in financial operations or branch accounting with 2 years in a similar capacity (prior experience in courier, express logistics will be a distinct advantage).
- Fully qualified in AAT, or Part-qualified in CA Sri Lanka / CIMA / ACCA and A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Management.
KEY STRENGTHS
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets (formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis) and experience with ERP software.
- Proven track record of high performance, fast learning and independent execution.
- Strong leadership and supervisory abilities to guide and manage team members effectively.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills in operational settings.
