Procurement Executive - Wattala
Job Profile
We are looking for a dynamic, results-oriented professional to manage Order planning and procurement activities, ensuring optimum stock availability to meet customer and dealership requirements.
Key Responsibility
- Forecast and plan Order requirements based on sales trends, stock levels, and market demand.
- Prepare order listings and coordinate timely procurement to ensure adequate stock availability.
- Monitor stock levels, fast/slow-moving items, stock-outs, and inventory aging and recommend appropriate actions.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments to ensure timely order placement and delivery.
- Handle VOR, warranty, critical, and urgent spare parts requirements.
- Maintain accurate procurement and inventory records in ERP/IBM systems and prepare relevant reports.
- Support initial spare parts planning for new models and other procurement activities as required.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in Spare Parts Procurement, Inventory Planning, Material Management, or a similar capacity. Experience in the automotive industry will be an added advantage.
- A professional qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain, Material Management, or a related field from a recognized institute.
- Good analytical, communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
- High level of IT literacy with a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, particularly MS Excel.
- Experience in ERP/IBM systems will be an added advantage.
- A collaborative team player with the ability to work independently and deliver
