BUSINESS FINANCE MANAGER
The Business Finance Manager will provide critical financial insights in support of the Business and the achievement of the Business plan. They will be responsible for the Management Accounting function, while also implementing a robust system of financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting to support key decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control all financial management aspects of the business including the preparation of the annual business plans and monitoring achievement, deviations to plans etc.
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Scrutinizing the monthly financial reports, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support business planning.
- Responsible for preparing and reviewing annual budgets, monthly forecasts, operating results and other analyses to support the achievement of business objectives and plans
- Responsible for the clusters' effective cash flow & treasury management
- Analysing market trends and competitors
- Proactively assist with cost control requirements, internal controls revenue enhancement possibilities and profit improvement opportunities for the cluster.
- Monitor and improve cluster operation costs, profitability and manage business risks.
- Establish and maintain cordial relationships with banks, financial institutions in servicing existing facilities and facilitating the arrangement of adequate funding requirements, funding facilities etc.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Fully qualified accountant with a minimum of at least 5 to 10 years post qualified experience (CIMA/ICASL/ ACCA) with a minimum of 5 year as a management accountant/Business Analyst
- Exceptional Communication and relationship building skills
- Proven financial analytical skills including ability to identify risks, opportunities, trends and relationships
- Tech Savvy
- A good Team player with good interpersonal skills
