WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Track the progress of the packing process by following-up against the internal packing list and by balancing the PO's at the end-of the day to clearly understand the packing status of the orders.
- Monitor the daily order fulfillment and monitor the status of pending orders and liaise with production and other departments to complete those orders. Complete operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees.
- Provide training to improve the knowledge base of the staff and utilize cross-training methods to maintain productivity of the employees.
- Maintain the stability and reputation of the store by complying with legal/compliance requirements.
- Calculate requirements for packing materials, based on the production plan and ensure the availability of packing material for running orders.
- Coordinate with planning department/merchants on all issues regarding quality and delivery of packing materials
- Ensure the quality of the packing materials are as per the requirements specified by the customers, by verifying against the trim card information.
- Instruct and educate the packing helpers on packing methods, delivery dates, price ticket details and related processes.
- Produce reports and statistics regularly.
WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE
- Possess a Degree/Diploma from a recognized university.
- Work experience of minimum 2-3 years in the relevant field. Exposure in Lean Manufacturing & 5S will be an added advantage. Willing to be based in Palapathwala.
