FINANCE OPERATIONS OFFICER
LOCATION - COLOMBO
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform daily financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Monitor cash flow, financial transactions, and financial data accuracy.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Collaborate with other departments to support financial analysis and decision-making.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations.
- Maintain financial records and documentation in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Assist in audits and regulatory inspections as required.
- Provide support to the finance team on ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Previous experience in finance operations or related role preferred.
- Strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software applications.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data analysis and reporting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
