FINANCE OPERATIONS OFFICER

LOCATION - COLOMBO

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform daily financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
  • Monitor cash flow, financial transactions, and financial data accuracy.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support financial analysis and decision-making.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations.
  • Maintain financial records and documentation in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Assist in audits and regulatory inspections as required.
  • Provide support to the finance team on ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Diploma in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Previous experience in finance operations or related role preferred.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software applications.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
