Our client is a leading Food & Beverage manufacturing organization in Sri Lanka. They are looking for a dynamic, innovative, result oriented individual to join their team
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure maintenance activities are scheduled and executed on time with high quality
- Promote and coach teams on breakdown analysis across plants
- Facilitate the implementation and execution of maintenance routines and methodologies
- Report and analyze the budget, address over/under spending, and contribute to the annual maintenance budget planning
- Promote SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) guidelines, conduct safety inspections/audits, and foster a safety culture within the plant
- Adhere to Policies, Standards, Guidelines, GMP, and regulatory requirements, following Good Hygienic Engineering practices
- Eliminate quality defects, safety risks, and chronic technical issues
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed University or Institute
- A minimum of 4 years of managerial experience in manufacturing is essential, with at least 2 years specifically in Dairy/Coconut related food manufacturing industry
- Practical experience within the coconut industry, particularly with boilers, dryers, oil expellers, and filters, is highly advantageous
- Familiarity with food quality control and safety principles and practices, including knowledge of ISO22000 and HACCP Food Safety and Quality Control Procedures, is mandatory
