David Pieris Racing & Leisure (Private) Limited, a member of David Pieris Group, is the managing company of Sri Lanka's first internally certified karting track and leisure complex based in Bandaragama, renowned as the best in Asia and one of a kind in the world.
STEWARDS
We are looking for enthusiastic and dynamic individuals to ensure that all guests are served Food & Beverages with the best possible service in the Restaurant/Bar/Lounge areas.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the guests with food and beverage orders and serve them as per the restaurant standards in a professional, timely and efficient manner.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure guest satisfaction; stay guest focused and deliver a perfect dining experience.
- Assist with stocking and maintaining par stock levels and side stations of the restaurant.
- Comply with all food and beverage safety and service standards.
REQUIREMENTS
- Possess a Diploma / certificate level qualification in Food & Beverage from a recognized hotel school.
- Experience in stewarding at reputed hotels/restaurants in a similar capacity or as an intern for a minimum of 1 year.
- Good understanding of food menus, ingredients and service technique coupled with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Outstanding personal hygiene and grooming standards with ability to communicate, read and write clearly and effectively in English and Sinhala.
