SECRETARY CUM PERSONAL ASSISTANT

We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and smart team player with excellent personnel & organizing skills, to be appointed as the Secretary cum Personal Assistant. The position holder will report to the Country General Manager, based at the Country Head Office, in Seeduwa, Sri Lanka.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the CGM's calendar and schedule appointments, meetings and follow up action.
  • Make reports, prepare presentations & draft letters.
  • Attend to correspondence & filing of records and documents.
  • Handle the telephone keyboard (PABX).
  • Interact with government institutions and other external parties.
  • Handle overseas travel and accommodation arrangements of staff.
  • Arrange visas in co-ordination with travel agents, embassies & high commissions.
  • Coordinate company customer service queries.
  • Receive & dispatch mails, parcels and other deliveries.
  • Handle purchasing of non-tradable office items (stationeries, etc.) as instructed.
  • Undertake administrative & office functions as directed.

Pre-requisites

  • A female between the age of 28-45 years.
  • Diploma in Secretarial Practice or higher.
  • Computer literate in MS Office package.
  • High Proficiency in English language (Spoken & Written).
  • Well-developed communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Prior work experience of 5 - 10 years in a similar position in a mercantile/multinational firm.
  • Capable of working independently & methodically.
  • Ability to function under pressure and meet tight schedules and deadlines.
  • Prefer candidates within a 30 KM radius to office.
