EXECUTIVE-PROCUREMENT & COMMERCIAL
CAREER PROFILE
- Coordinate and manage international shipments to ensure timely delivery and compliance with export regulations
- Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and shipping companies to optimize logistics routes and costs
- Track shipment statuses and resolve any issues related to transportation or customs clearance
- Source, select, and negotiate with suppliers to procure materials, equipment, and services required for export operations
- Manage supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance to ensure quality, cost-efficiency, and on-time delivery
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with export and logistics objectives
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics/Supply Chain Management/International Business, or any related field
- Experience with export documentation and compliance requirements for various regions (e.g., EU, APAC, NAFTA)
- Proven experience in export logistics and purchasing roles, preferably within Manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and INCO terms
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships with international suppliers and stakeholders
