Senior Manager - Local sales
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager for our Local Sales team to drive our growth and expansion in the local market.
Location: Marketing Office, World Trade Center (WTC), Colombo
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the local sales team to optimize performance
- Identify new business opportunities and expand our customer base.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies.
- Collaborate with the marketing and product development teams to ensure alignment with business goals.
Requirements
- 7+ years Proven experience in a sales management role in the FMCG sector.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a high-performing sales team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
- Strategic thinker with a results-driven approach.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
