- Position: Enterprise Development Officer & Junior Enterprise Development Officer (Valaichchenai Branch)

Berendina Micro Investments Company Limited (BMIC) is the first licensed microfinance company regulated by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka. BMIC is a leading development organization in Sri Lanka specializing in microfinance and small business development. They manage a loan portfolio exceeding LKR 4.5 billion with over 90,000 clients across 35 branches in 13 districts. The company offers credit facilities, collateral savings facilities, and Enterprise Development Services (EDS) to ensure the long-term sustainability of their clients.
Job Profile:
- Focus on providing credit and ensuring sustainability of business ventures through Enterprise Development Services (EDS)
- Engage in technical and business skill development training
- Provide soft skills training such as leadership, communication, and positive thinking
Enterprise Development Officers are responsible for implementing the EDS component at the branch level.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Ideal candidate should be a Diploma holder in Agriculture/Enterprise & Business Development or have A/L qualifications in Business Studies with more than one year of relevant experience
- Desire to develop a career in Enterprise Development
- Good command of English
- Analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and maintain excellent interpersonal relationships
- Knowledge of Microsoft applications
- Valid motorbike riding license
- Experience in Enterprise Development and Livelihood Development is a plus
