PROCESS ENGINEER
Contrinex Ceylon is a BOI approved company in Wattala and is a subsidiary of Contrinex Group Switzerland. We manufacture sensors and smart systems as a production hub upholding strict Swiss quality standards to serve the global market.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure close follow up of defined processes (Tin-soldering, assembly, potting, packaging).
- Evaluate and improve on processes in Production.
- Manage New Product Implementation on the Sri Lankan plant.
- Train operators on manufacturing processes and evaluate their ability to respect the standards.
- Improve process capability and production volume while maintaining and improving quality standards.
- Develop innovative solutions while maintain reliable and safe manufacturing systems while improving production rates and efficiencies.
- Evaluate internal defect and downtime information to form appropriate plans of improvement.
- Ensure that production given targets are achieve on time.
- Develop and implement systems that optimize all the phases of production processes.
- Give technical support on processes and production equipment for products families.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar capacity in a reputed Manufacturing organization.
- Experience in electronic manufacturing, or small devices assembly.
- Specialized Degree in Production/Mechanical & Industrial Engineering.
- Good team player and ability to correspond and coordinate with other departments as and when necessary.
- Analysis skills and prevent successful problem solving skills.
- Ability to work in a pressurized environment.
