Business Development Manager - Local Market
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Business Development Manager to drive our growth in the local market. This role is crucial for identifying new business opportunities and driving sales growth.
Location: Marketing Office, World Trade Center (WTC), Colombo
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic business plans to drive sales growth and market expansion.
- Identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders.
- Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to inform decision-making.
- Collaborate with the sales, marketing, and product development teams to align strategies and enhance market penetration.
- Monitor and report on sales performance, market trends, and business development activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in business development and sales management, preferably in the FMCG sector.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of the industry and market trend.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
