Head of Audit (Senior Manager Grade)

we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as Head of Audit.
Responsibilities
- Managing the internal audit team and ensuring desired audit objectives are achieved.
- Planning and allocating resources to internal audit and special arrangements.
- Supervise and mentor audit teams, providing guidance and support.
- Review audit findings and recommendations to improve internal controls and operational efficiency.
- Supervise special audit investigations.
- Allocate resources and monitor team performance to ensure timely completion of audits.
- Review audit findings and recommendations to improve internal controls and operational efficiency.
- Foster a culture of excellence, integrity, and accountability within the audit function.
- Ensure adherence to audit standards, policies, and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from a recognized university in Management, Accountancy, Finance, or related discipline.
- Professional qualifications in such as CA, CIMA or ACCA
- Strong influencing and relationship management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Sinhala.
- High level of integrity and work ethics.
