Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) assigned to branch.
  • Enhancing the customer portfolios and branch profitability by building mutually benefited partnerships with individuals, institutions, and corporate customers.
  • Monitoring branch's loan book recoveries and carry out timely following up on due payments.
  • Ensure smooth functioning of branch administration/operation and adhere to procedures and controls.
  • Achieving business targets of the branch with implementation of proper strategies.
  • Motivate and guide branch staff to achieve overall objectives.
  • Ability to capitalize on outstanding networking skills to grow business.

Key Requirements:

  • Degree or any professional & academic qualifications in a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the managerial or equivalent position at banking or financial institution.
  • Ability to pursue and achieve set performance targets in a challenging environment.
  • Knowledge in all aspects related to branch management, excellent customer service, regulatory requirements, leasing, and financing.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in both Sinhala and English languages.
  • Good interpersonal, negotiation, and leadership skills.
