Mechanical Engineer

Singapore-based MindOx Techno Private Limited is a leading semiconductor equipment manufacturer, renowned for its innovative and high-quality solutions. We are seeking a motivated and experienced professional to join our Sri Lanka team.
What you will do
- Design mechanical and electro-mechanical components, and support in integrating them into subsystems and assemblies for semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
- Perform interference analysis, ensuring designs adhere to safety codes and regulatory standards.
- Analyze and respond to issues found at supplier or manufacturing sites, ensuring product quality and reliability.
- Develop or modify parametric 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD tools. Release and modify drawings, complete other engineering documentation as required concomitant with design release.
- Conduct lab testing or evaluation of components if required, ensuring performance and reliability.
- Work with the R&D team to identify new innovations and engineering research, contributing to product enhancement and development.
- Create and maintain task calendars outlining engineering projects, results, and provide reports as required, ensuring project milestones are met and communicated effectively.
What You Should Have
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 2 years of experience in mechanical design and engineering. Preferably with manufacturing or automation experience
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks) and familiarity with simulation and analysis tools.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical principles, materials, manufacturing processes, and standards.
- Experience with design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work in a cross-functional team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet project deadlines.
