Ansell Textiles Lanka (Pvt) Ltd., a company which is fully owned by Ansell Ltd and the Company manufactures a range of barrier protective products for industrial use mainly in the form of Knitted and Cut & Sewn Liners and, is ISO 9001:2015 certified. Applications are invited for dynamic, result-oriented, ambitious individuals to fill the below position in our plant Ansell Textiles Lanka (Pvt) Ltd.

GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION:

  • Production Executive

Reporting to Production Manager - BP, The Production Executive - BP Operations will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing manufacturing processes during assigned production area. Also, he/she should assist in the capacity planning & production scheduling for the BP and need to maintain OEE & productivity targets within his/her area. Further this position should support and assist to maintain efficient utilization of plant capacity, timely delivery of goods and maintaining quality standards of products manufactured.

RESPONSIBILITIES & SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Leadership: Take charge of assigned area, leading a team of production staff to ensure smooth operations, adherence to production schedules, and attainment of production targets.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency enhancement, and waste reduction. Implement corrective actions and preventive measures to optimize production output.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain high-quality standards by monitoring production processes, conducting regular inspections, and addressing any deviations from quality specifications promptly.
  • Team Management: Foster a positive work environment by providing leadership, guidance, and training to production team members. Monitor and evaluate team performance, addressing any issues or concerns as they arise.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as maintenance, logistics, and quality control to ensure seamless coordination and effective communication across the organization.
  • Safety Compliance: Enforce and promote safety protocols, ensuring that all team members adhere to safety guidelines and regulations. Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date production records, shift reports, and performance metrics. Generate reports for management review.
  • Compliance with EHS standards.

Maintain compliance with all internal and external EHS rules, regulations and other Risk Management requirements.

  • Actively use the safety calendar as an accountability tool to measure safety performance and to promote the development of a EHS culture.
  • Follow the requirements of the 5-point safety charter.

Compliance with QMS system:

  • Ensure that processes are delivering their intended outputs with complying to the ATL-QMS & responsible to implement, maintain & continuous development in relevant processes in accordance with ATL-QMS.

Communication:

  • Make sure all your subordinates are aware of the plans targets and their dates of accomplishments.
  • Give a feed back to teams through effective communication methods.
  • Keep Plant Manager updated with the progress of achievements of planned targets and any deviations of same continuously.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Qualification, Knowledge and experience:
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Science/Operations or any other related field and/or
    • 3+ years of manufacturing & operations
  • Must have a thorough knowledge in Textile technology and people management Exposure to lean six sigma principals.
