Sales Manager
Location: Colombo, Sri Lanka
We are currently seeking candidates for our esteemed client company (five-star hotel) based in Colombo, who have experience in the hospitality industry.
Responsibilities:
- Understanding of the hotel industry, including market trends, competitor analysis, and customer needs
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, and other key stakeholders
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients, team members, and senior management
- Knowledge of marketing principles and strategies to promote the hotel's services effectively
- Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and adjust strategies accordingly
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain attention to detail
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, marketing, or a related field is often preferred
- Minimum 10 years of experience in sales within the hospitality industry is mandatory
- Minimum 6 to 8 years of experience as a manager is mandatory
- Ability to analyze sales data, market trends, and performance metrics to make informed decisions
- Awareness of the latest trends and best practices in hotel sales and marketing
