Assistant Transport Manager - Inbound Travel

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of inbound travel logistics, ensuring timely and efficient transportation for our clients
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining clear and professional communication to understand and meet their travel needs
  • Ensure our fleet of vehicles is well-maintained, safe, and meets the operational demands
  • Apply creative thinking to solve problems and improve travel services, enhancing the overall client experience
  • Work independently with minimal supervision and effectively manage a team to ensure smooth operations

Prerequisites

  • G.C.E. O/L or G.C.E A/L's or qualification in the Tourism or a related field
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in the travel industry, preferably with a focus on transport or logistics
  • Familiarity with the geographical locations of Sri Lanka and the ability to effectively plan routes and calculate travel mileage
  • A proactive and innovative approach to addressing challenges and optimizing travel operations
  • Availability to manage and respond to travel needs around the clock, ensuring constant readiness for operational demands
