Transport Officer
We currently have an opening for a Transport Officer to be based at our Head Office in Colombo. The ideal candidate for this position would be a self-motivated, dynamic, and performance-oriented individual to join our Transport Department immediately.
Job Profile
- Oversee and manage the company's fleet including cars, vans, and all bikes.
- Coordinate and manage vehicle repairs, services, and regular maintenance.
- Handle the renewal of licenses for all company vehicles.
- Manage the complete insurance process for both motor and non-motor vehicles.
- Oversee renewals of insurance claims and handle any related issues efficiently.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation of vehicle history and operations.
- Manage procurement activities related to the fleet, including sourcing and purchasing necessary parts and equipment.
- Supervise and support transport officers to ensure efficient fleet operations and coordinate parking arrangements and maintain parking facilities effectively.
Candidate Profile
- GCE Advanced Level qualified.
- Minimum one year experience in fleet management or a similar role.
- Good computer literacy and general English knowledge
- Willingness to travel across business locations when necessary.
- Valid driving license
- Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair processes.
