SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER
As Commercial Manager you will be responsible for providing overall supply chain Management guidance and support to the entire business of the company as Head of the Department and will directly report to the Director/CEO of the company.
Main Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies to find new sources and meet the required raw materials on time.
- Negotiation of terms and conditions of agreements with suppliers.
- Review the critical items on regular basis and prepare control strategies to avoid stock-out situations.
- Develop strategies to make sure that cost savings, quality parameters, and supplier performance targets are met or exceeded.
- Overlook the entire process of Exports & Imports.
- Lead, motivate, and train employees of the SCM Division to achieve company objectives.
- Liaise with government institutions.
- Minimize the risk related to the procurement process and take preventive actions.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management from a recognized University.
- A Master's degree in the related field would be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 10 years post-qualifying experience, with 3 years at a senior managerial level in a manufacturing company.
- Sound knowledge of Trading, Logistics terms (TT & LC) import and export procedures and preparation of documentations.
- Experience with SAP or any other ERP package.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and presentation skills.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Age - Below 45 years.
