Reservation Agent
Taj Samudra Colombo, a renowned luxury hotel, is seeking highly skilled and motivated professionals to join our esteemed revenue team. We currently have openings for experienced Reservation Agents to contribute to the success and excellence of our facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Answer reservation calls in a pleasant and courteous manner
- Check availability of room types and confirm reservations
- Up-sell higher category rooms
- Ensure all details are filled in advance reservation forms
- Handle amendments and cancellations
- Keep sales office updated on room availability
- Sort and attach correspondence with reservation forms
- Keep guest arrival list ready
- Communicate special instructions/facilities with other departments
- Assist in implementing T.B.E.M processes
- Adhere to HACCP System principles in the workplace
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience in a related field
- Degree or Hotel School Diploma preferred
