SENIOR EXECUTIVE - LOGISTICS

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Handling Freight RFQ's and negotiating rates with service providers.
- Generating reports and maintaining data.
- Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders for shipment nominations and execution.
- Logistic project initiation and coordination.
- Taking the leading role in logistics cost saving initiations.
- Analyzing data and presenting to management.
WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE
- A Graduate of Logistics/Science/Statistical/finance/Business Management/ Information technology or supply chain areas
- Additional professional qualifications will be an additional advantage.
- Strong Negotiation Skills in freight
- Two years of permanent experience.
- Hands-on experience on RFQs/Logistics Procurement/Pricing.
- Hands-on experience about pricing all incoming bids and provide analytical support.
- Experience in handling Logistics operations will be an additional advantage.
- An effective & confidence written & verbal communication skill in both Sinhala & English
- Multi-tasking ability
- Strong knowledge of Excel/PP/Macro Excel
- Presentation and communication skills
- Coordination with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong quantitative analytical skill
- Good knowledge in freight procurement and analysis also current trends is an added advantage.
- Ability to identify the prioritized works and deliver in high workload situation. Individuals with high curiosity to learn new things/gain new knowledge & accept the challenging environment and to develop the carrier path.
