Production Junior Assistant (Male) - Factory (Permanent)
Location: No 146, Naththandiya road, Dankotuwa
Job Description
We are looking for a Production Junior Assistant to oversee production and packaging operations.
Work under the Operations Manager to:
- Manage production and packaging lines under the Operations Manager.
- Ensure quality control as per the Quality Assurance guidelines.
- Manage a team of around 25 workers, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.
- Work closely with the Operations, Procurement, and Warehouse teams to meet shipment deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards on the production floor.
- Maintain production records and report key metrics to the Operations Manager.
- Assist in implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience is a plus (especially in food manufacturing or the coconut industry).
- Minimum of a diploma qualification.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to work independently.
- Good communication skills and basic computer knowledge.
