Our client, an ISO-certified, multi-tier business, leads in IT, energy, healthcare administration, and international & domestic food aid.

About the role:

In this role, you’ll play a vital part in driving sales and building strong customer relationships within the logistics sector. By identifying customer needs, offering tailored solutions, and ensuring smooth coordination of services, your contributions will directly influence the growth and success of our logistics sales operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive logistics sales.
  • Identify potential clients and generate new business opportunities in the logistics sector.
  • Understand customer requirements and propose tailored logistics solutions.
  • Negotiate pricing and service agreements to close deals effectively.
  • Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Provide timely updates to clients on shipments, schedules, and delivery timelines.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to clients.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets through proactive engagement and strategic planning.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and performance metrics.
  • Address customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Enhance the company's social media presence and marketing efforts.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in business, sales, logistics, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in ground logistics within the US, with a focus on managing semi-truck operations.
  • Strong understanding of the logistics industry, including transportation and supply chain processes.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and CRM systems; familiarity with logistics software is an advantage.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Analytical thinking and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Flexibility to adapt to evolving client and market demands.
  • A team-oriented mindset with a drive to achieve results.
  • Ability to work during US Eastern Time hours.
