Job Title: HVAC Designer
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Designer to lead the complete design process for hotel HVAC systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for system design, equipment bidding, construction supervision, and coordinating multi-discipline drawing integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the full-process design of HVAC systems for hotel projects, including scheme selection, equipment bidding, and construction oversight.
- Coordinate integration of drawings among multiple disciplines.
- Oversee the application of BIM throughout the design process, organizing BIM design reviews and refinements.
- Ensure compliance with temperature, humidity, airflow, and noise control requirements for different hotel areas (guest rooms, banquet halls, kitchens, swimming pools, etc.).
- Select suitable HVAC equipment (e.g., chillers, boilers, fan coil units) based on project scale and optimize system costs.
- Communicate effectively with architects, contractors, and clients to resolve design and construction issues.
- Manage project timelines and adapt to design changes and on-site technical challenges.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of HVAC design experience in the hotel industry.
- Proficient in Revit MEP and CFD simulation.
- Expertise in BIM applications and processes.
- Knowledge of HVAC requirements for various hotel zones.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with different stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage project schedules and respond to design changes.
