Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer
Our European client is on the lookout for a talented Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer to join their team in Sri Lanka.
Your Responsibilities
- Design and implement personalized customer journeys using Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Email Studio.
- Develop responsive and dynamic email templates using HTML, CSS, and AMPscript.
- Build and manage marketing automation workflows and segmentation strategies.
- Integrate Salesforce Marketing Cloud with external systems (Salesforce CRM, web platforms, etc.) using APIs, SSJS, and Data Extensions.
- Ensure proper data modeling, import/export automation, and real-time data syncing between platforms.
- Monitor campaign performance and deliverability using analytics tools within SFMC.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot issues related to email rendering, data syncing, and automation logic.
Your Qualifications
- 1+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Email Studio, Automation Studio, Journey Builder, Contact Builder).
- Experience with data extensions, relational data models, and data segmentation.
- Familiarity with Salesforce CRM and its integration with SFMC.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong knowledge of AMPscript, SQL, and SSJS (Server-Side JavaScript).
- Proficiency in HTML/CSS for email design.
- Understanding of CAN-SPAM laws and email deliverability best practices.
- Fluent in spoken and written English to directly work with the onsite team in the EU.
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Developer or Email Specialist certification.
- Knowledge of mobile marketing tools (Mobile Studio, Push Notifications, SMS).
- Experience with scripting APIs for data imports and triggered sends.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
