The Komar Brands finance team is seeking a Financial Analyst who will be providing financial insights, analysis, and reporting to support strategic decision-making.
You are required to work remotely on USA hours and must be flexible with your working hours.
What you need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in financial analysis or a related role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., advanced formulas, pivot tables, financial modeling).
- Experience with Infor Cloudsuitt, dePM, Blue Cherry is a plus.
- Experience with SQL or other database querying languages.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and experience with data visualization tools, i.e., Power BI is an added advantage.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Financial Modeling and Analysis:
- Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Prepare and present financial reports and analyses to management.
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist in the development of annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
- Monitor actual performance against budget and provide explanations for variances.
- Collaborate with department managers to gather budget inputs and ensure accuracy.
- Reporting and Performance Monitoring:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor business performance.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance.
- Financial Reporting and Compliance:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
- Support audits and other financial reviews.
- Ad-Hoc Analysis and Projects:
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses to support business initiatives.
- Participate in special projects related to financial planning and analysis.
- Support mergers and acquisitions due diligence, and integration analysis.
