For our Logistics Division, we are on the lookout for an Operation Executive for immediate employment.
Logistics Operation Executive (Inward Cargo Division)
Key Responsibilities in brief
- Handling day-to-day email and correspondence related to inward cargo operations.
- Coordinating with shipping agents regarding collection of EDOs, demurrage payments, and clearance procedures for inter-company & other shipments.
- Liaising with clients and their local offices in relation to Personal Cargo Shipment clearances.
- Managing container deposit refund processes in a timely and accurate manner.
- Updating shipment trackers, maintaining proper records, and ensuring all inward cargo documentation is complete.
- Coordinating with internal departments such as Finance, Transport, and other inter-companies to ensure smooth clearance and delivery of goods.
- Maintaining strong communication with port and customs authorities when necessary.
- Attending to any other logistic secretarial and administrative duties.
Candidate Profile:
- Minimum of 2 years prior experience in logistics operations, shipping, or freight forwarding.
- Very Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Ability to work independently and handle time-sensitive shipments.
- Strong coordination and follow-up skills.
