GENERAL MANAGER
CHARLESTON – ASHARI (PVT) LTD
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager (GM) to oversee the daily operations of our boutique hotel. The GM will be responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience, maintaining high standards of hospitality, managing the hotel's departments, and driving profitability. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a strong background in hotel management, excellent communication skills, and a passion for personalized service.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee hotel operations, ensuring smooth coordination across departments, maintaining brand standards, delivering consistent guest experiences, and resolving issues promptly.
- Create a unique, brand-consistent guest experience through personalized service, continuous engagement, and feedback-driven improvements.
- Manage hotel operations by coordinating departments, implementing SOPs, overseeing procurement, and ensuring legal and safety compliance.
- Oversee financial management by developing budgets, monitoring performance, controlling costs, and managing pricing, reporting, and audits to ensure profitability.
- Lead, develop, and motivate a high-performing team, manage HR functions, and cultivate a positive, inclusive work culture aligned with the hotel's objectives.
- Ensure adherence to safety, hygiene, and quality standards, conduct audits, and drive sustainability initiatives.
- Use technology and data analytics to optimize operations, improve guest experiences, and foster innovation to differentiate the hotel.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 6+ years of progressive hotel management experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role at a boutique or luxury property.
- Proven track record in financial management, team leadership, and customer service excellence.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative leadership style.
- Tech-savvy, with knowledge of modern PMS systems, online booking platforms, and digital marketing.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with creative problem-solving abilities.
