JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring and controlling costs across the resort, ensuring financial efficiency, and supporting our commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Monitor and analyze all cost aspects of the resorts, including budgets, forecasts and financial reports.
- Implement and maintain effective cost control procedures.
- Collaborate with department heads to optimize operational efficiency and reduce expenses.
- Conduct regular audits of inventory and purchasing processes.
- Prepare cost analysis reports and provide recommendations to management.
- Assist in the development of budgets and financial plans.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in financial software such as Material Control (MC) and Microsoft Excel, with expertise in cost control and recipe costing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, multicultural environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Cost Controller or in a similar financial role, preferably in the hospitality industry or in Maldives resorts.
