LABORATORY MANAGER – Chemical Laboratory
Job Specification Required
- Chemistry Special Graduate/ postgraduate/ doctorate in science
- 8 -10 years’ Experience in Laboratory Operations.
- Working in high tech equipment would be added qualification. (GC/LC/ICP/GCMS/LCMS)
- Manage laboratory work as a profit center manager.
- Maximize top line growth mainly through client retention, new test and service development.
- Monitor direct operating costs of laboratory by optimizing utilization of resources and cultivating best lab practices.
- Responsible for all Technical Developments and functions of the Laboratory.
- Good command of written and spoken English Language.
- Should be a self-organized, enthusiastic person with the ability to work with minimum guidance.
- Should be disciplined and a team player.
- Should strictly follow HSE guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Should have high integrity.
- Ideal candidate should possess leads & referrals to bring new business opportunities.
- Should be able to work extended hours if required.
- Living in and around Colombo will be an advantage.
