FORMULATION RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT SCIENTIST
Sands Active (Pvt) Limited is (a subsidiary of Melwa Group) a BOI approved state of the art Pharmaceutical manufacturing company by partnering with the State Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Corporation Sri Lanka with the intention to fulfill local pharmaceutical related demand.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of MFC, MPC, BMR and BPR.
- Preparation Process optimization protocols and reports.
- Calibration of in-process equipment’s.
- Trouble shooting of existing products.
- Technology Transfer of developed products in the Production Department.
- Training of junior staff members.
- Supervision and execution of Submission Batches.
- Supervision and execution of R&D Trial Batches.
- Maintenance & verification of area & equipment log books.
- Preparation and revision of SOP for R&D Setup.
- Entry and verification of BMR and BPR.
- Rectifying and reporting the issues during process to the head of the department.
- Overall verification of documentation and compilation of data (GDP & GLP).
- Preparation of Formulation Approvals & Product Development Report.
Qualifications
- Bpharm or equivalent qualification.
- 04 years’ R & D experience from a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing company.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Ability to work long working hours.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
