Overview of the role
Provide independent, objective and reasonable assurance, and consulting services that are designed to improve the organization’s operations and its control environment. The role assists the organization accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control environment and governance processes.
What you will do
- Assist in planning and executing internal audits in accordance with the approved audit plan and standards.
- Conduct detailed audits of financial, operational, and compliance processes to identify potential risks and control deficiencies.
- Prepare audit workpapers, findings, and recommendations for management review.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of audit programs and procedures.
- Assist in the preparation of audit reports and presentations for senior management and the Audit Committee.
What equips you for the role
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and part qualified in CA/ACCA.
- 4-5 years of experience in Internal Auditing in a bank/finance company or reputed audit firm.
- Strong understanding of internal control concepts and risk management.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ethical standards and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
