We are a rapidly expanding commercial and retail cleaning company based in Melbourne, currently seeking a skilled and motivated Admin / Accounts Assistant to support our operations remotely. This is a fully online/work-from-home position, ideal for someone looking for flexibility while working in a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general administrative duties to support day-to-day operations remotely
  • Respond to emails and manage client communications professionally
  • Generate purchase orders, quotations, and invoices as needed
  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring compliance and accuracy
  • Assist with payroll and bookkeeping tasks using XERO (experience highly regarded)
  • Manage and update spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel
  • Handle third-party complaints and liaise with site supervisors for resolutions
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and internal teams via phone, email, or virtual platforms
  • Prepare reports and assist with compliance-related documentation

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in administration and/or accounts
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office Suite
  • Experience with XERO (preferred)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks remotely
  • Must be an Australian resident or citizen
