MANAGER – QUALITY ASSURANCE (Embilipitiya)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Accountable for regular maintaining of Global GAP policy, occupational health and safety policy and environmental management policy.
- Ensuring raw materials, processes, and finished products meet all specified requirements for regulatory and food safety compliances.
- Accountable for updating, reviewing, and maintaining compliance with Global GAP, SLGAP certification requirements.
- Responsible for monitoring and conducting all quality audits, review and report the principle causes for non-conformities.
- Ensure all relevant information and records are maintained in accordance with the required standards in order to support for decision making.
- Liasing with external bodies, authorities and consumers for quality related matters when required.
- Ensure annual test requirements and quality trainings.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor Degree referred to field of Agricultural Management, Food Science and Nutrition, Food Technology, Bio Technology, Agri Food Technology, Agricultural Business and Plantation management from a recognized university.
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience as a Quality Assurance Manager especially in food processing or agricultural process-based environment.
- Strong technical skills and demonstrated knowledge and experience in Quality System Certifications.
- Managerial Abilities, People Management and documentation skills.
- High level understanding of quality control processes with analytical abilities including excellent documentation process and knowledge in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
