We are EAM Maliban Textiles, one of the leading apparel manufacturers in Sri Lanka. The IT Team of EAM Maliban Group plays a critical role in ensuring smooth operations, productivity, and profitability. The service we provide typically involves the use of technology & software applications to automate and support the various functions of the company, from production ERP to sales and finance.
We are looking for a PASSIONATE, highly skilled and experienced Senior Full Stack Software Developer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both front-end and back-end technologies, with a focus on delivering scalable, maintainable, and high-quality software solutions.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable web applications using modern front-end and back-end technologies.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate business requirements into technical specifications, scope documents and user interfaces.
- Lead the technical architecture and design discussions to ensure robust, secure, and scalable solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following best practices in software development.
- Perform code reviews, mentor junior developers, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
- Strong code reviewing ability and logical thinking to adopt into existing project and do a modification.
- Optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary enhancements.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure the continuous evolution of our tech stack.
Individual Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or computer science from a recognized institution.
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack development, with a strong portfolio of web applications.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML, CSS3, JavaScript, J-Query, AJAX, HTML5, JSON and more (Angular, React).
- Expertise in backend development with languages such as .NET core 3, Node.js, Python, Java.
- Experience with RESTful API design and development.
- Strong understanding of database technologies, SQL Server 2008 R2 / 2012/ My SQL/ SQL Server Reporting Services/crystal reports.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS and Azure) and DevOps practices.
- Experience with version control systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Experience in developing solutions for the apparel industry is an added advantage.
