Lead Software Engineer / Assistant Manager Software
The LK Domain Registry registers domain names in Sri Lanka since its inception in 1990. In addition to domain registration services, we provide several value-added services, and are currently expanding these services to serve the country better. The Registry is also mandated to develop the Internet in the country.
We are looking for a capable and self-motivated individual to lead software development for new products being developed by the Registry.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the development of new products of the registry, managing a team of both in-house and outsourced engineers building software with the highest standards of quality, usability, reliability and performance.
- Monitor industry trends and technological advancements, to ensure competitiveness and innovation.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members and help them to develop their skills and careers.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.
- Drive the implementation of best practices, including quality assurance, testing, and process optimization.
- Any other duties as may be assigned by management.
REQUIREMENTS
- A relevant degree from a recognised institution.
- A masters degree or recognised professional qualification would be an advantage.
- Demonstrated competence, knowledge, skills, and ability in software engineering, with relevant certifications.
- Three (3) years relevant experience.

- Demonstrated ability in software engineering.
- Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to changes and navigate challenges in fast-paced environments.
