Chief People Officer
Are you ready to lead the people strategy of one of Sri Lanka's most diversified business groups? Delmege Group of Companies is seeking a visionary and experienced Chief People Officer to lead the Group Human Resources Department and drive excellence across all our business sectors. As a member of the senior leadership team, you will play a strategic role in building a performance driven culture, fostering talent, and aligning HR with our long-term business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee HR operations and strategy across the Group to support organizational growth and transformation.
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent and enhance our employer brand.
- Ensure effective onboarding and smooth employee exits, analyzing trends for continuous improvement.
- Drive performance management, succession planning, and training initiatives to nurture internal talent.
- Manage salaries, bonuses, benefits, and ensure compliance with labor and tax regulations.
- Enhance employee engagement, maintain HR SOPs, and uphold legal and ethical HR governance.
- Represent the company in labor-related matters and lead the Group's disciplinary processes with fairness and integrity.
Ideal Candidate Should Possess:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A Master's Degree or MBA in HR or Organizational Development will be a strong advantage.
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive HR leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior/group level HR role.
- Demonstrated success in managing HR functions across multiple business units or industries.
- In-depth knowledge of Sri Lankan labor laws, HR systems, and compliance.
