JOB VACANCY FOR THE POST OF ASSISTANT MANAGER – ECO PLANTATIONS LANKA(PVT)LTD
COMPANY PROFILE:
We are a well established group of companies involved in aquaculture, aquarium fish breeding and exotic bird breeding, based in the Biyagama area. Our company requires responsible, energetic staff members for the following listed job.
JOB PROFILE:
Post of Assistant Manager. This is a total field job that requires you to work on site. Those who apply should be team players who are self motivated, who are positive and ready to work hard on the field, eager to learn and to perform under competitive and demanding atmosphere.
All applicants should have work experience as a manager or assistant manager in aqua culture, agriculture or in Aviculture fields, related company for more than 5 years.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
THIS IS A FIELD JOB WHICH REQUIRES ON SITE
- Manage and assist in the management of birds and ornamental fish
- Train, guide and supervise other staff members on all related matters on husbandry of live birds and fish
- Maintaining related documents, stocks and records
- Coordinate with staff members to gain the best productivity
APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS:
- Male or Female – below 50 years
- Completed GCE A/L or Higher
- Minimum of 5 years Job experience working as an Assistant manager or Manager in a related field of aqua culture, Agriculture or exotic birds.
- Ability to work on weekends and public holidays
- Ability to perform under pressure and high level of dedication
- Ability to work extended hours
OFFERED FACILITIES AND SALARY:
- Starting salary Rs. 60,000 – 70,000 (first 3 months)
- After completing 3 month trial period, successful officers will be appointed with a salary of Rs 75,000 to 85,000
- Free food and accommodation will be provided

- 4 holidays per month
- Faster promotions and salary increments will be given based on performance.
