Assistant Restaurant Manager

Tucked inside the walls of Galle Fort, The Archives is a boutique restaurant and bar where history, elegance, and contemporary hospitality come together. We serve more than just beautifully crafted dishes—we offer an experience that’s layered, personal, and quietly unforgettable. We’re looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager with the experience, discipline, and drive to help lead our team and deliver the level of service our guests return for.
About the Role :
This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who thrives on the floor, leads by example, and ensures the floor runs seamlessly—even at full pace. You’ll work closely with the Restaurant Manager and ownership to uphold the high standards our guests have come to expect, while inspiring a strong, well-coordinated team.
What We’re Looking For :
- Overseas experience is a must—we’re seeking someone who brings international standards and a worldly perspective.
- Highly organized, strategic, and goal-driven—you know how to plan ahead and stay one step ahead.
- Excellent floor presence with an eye for detail and guest interaction.
- Proven ability to train, mentor, and uplift your team.
- Experience in boutique or fine dining environments preferred.
- Strong command of English. Sinhala or Tamil fluency is a bonus.
