We are Venture Tea (Pvt) Ltd.
seeking an experienced Factory Manager to oversee all aspects of tea production, ensuring high-quality manufacturing, meeting export targets, and efficiently managing three key departments (Tea bags / Tea packing / Bulk Tea). The ideal candidate must have a strong background in Export (Tea will be an advantage or any FMCG Product), team leadership, and operational excellence.
SENIOR FACTORY MANAGER
Key Responsibilities:
- Production Management:
- Oversee the entire tea manufacturing process (from raw leaf to finished product).
- Ensure production meets quality standards for both value-added teas (flavored, organic, specialty teas) and bulk export teas.
- Optimize machinery, workflow, and manpower for maximum efficiency.
- Should be able to organize day and night shifts when required and willing to work during weekends and holidays when required.
- Target & Compliance:
- Achieve daily/weekly/monthly production targets.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards (ISO, HACCP, FDA, EU regulations) for export markets.
- Implement cost-control measures to reduce waste and improve yield.
- Department Supervision:
- Manage three core departments.
- Train and mentor team leaders to maintain productivity and discipline.
- Conduct performance reviews and resolve operational bottlenecks.
- Export & Supply Chain Coordination:
- Work with logistics and export teams to ensure timely shipments.
- Maintain proper documentation for international buyers.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 20-25 years of experience in tea export fields or any food export related product (preferably in a setup producing both value-added and bulk teas).
- Strong technical knowledge of food/export processing blending, flavoring, and packaging.
- Proven ability to lead large teams (100+ workers) and manage multiple departments.
- Familiarity with food safety certifications and export market requirements.
- Analytical mindset with expertise in production planning, inventory, and cost control.
- Degree in Food Technology/Agriculture/Engineering (preferred but not mandatory if experience is strong).
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Experience working with international buyers.
- Knowledge of automated tea machinery and ERP systems.
