Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing and communication strategy aligned with the company’s growth objectives, including brand positioning, market expansion, and customer acquisition.
  • Brand Management
    • Oversee the development and management of the company’s brand, ensuring consistency across all marketing channels and materials.
  • Digital Marketing
    • Lead digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, SEM, social media, content marketing, and online advertising.
  • Public Relations
    • Manage public relations efforts, including media relations, press releases, and crisis communication, to enhance the company’s public image.
  • Product Marketing
    • Collaborate with product teams to develop marketing campaigns that effectively promote new and existing financial products.
  • Customer Insights
    • Utilize market research and customer data analytics to inform marketing strategies and improve customer engagement.
  • Team Management
    • Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, fostering a culture of creativity, innovation, and performance.
  • Budget Management
    • Oversee the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
  • Stakeholder Communication
    • Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on all marketing and communication matters.

Eligibility

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration; a Master's degree in Marketing or Management would be an added advantage.
  • Membership in CIMA, CMA, SLIM, or a relevant professional institution.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role, preferably in the financial services sector.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing and communication strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools and techniques, including analytics and CRM systems.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.
  • Experience in brand management and public relations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Fluency in English, proficiency in Sinhala and Tamil would be an advantage.
