Job Summary
Formulation and packaging development for new Cosmetics products.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Effective and efficient New product development
- Technical dossier and support to the regulatory team for product registration
- Technical problem-solving related to product formulation/packaging design and market complaints
- R&D budget management
- Lead and coach R&D executives
- Study and develop new products or engage in product re-engineering based on market research and technical briefs
- Coordination with marketing, procurement, and production teams and suppliers related to new product development and product re-engineering
- Conduct consumer-oriented research and development to evaluate new product developments
- Generate insights by exploring trends of cosmetic industry, new materials and suppliers.
- Think outside the box, finding creative ideas to elevate product portfolio.
Requirements/Qualifications
- BSc or equivalent degree with Chemistry as a major
- More than 5 years of work experience in formulation and/or packaging development and scale-up of cosmetics/home care products
- Well-versed in NPD process and development testing of new products, including stability, compatibility testing, and preservative efficacy testing
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills
